The partnership between Rimadesio, an outstanding brand in the production of systems for the subdivision of interiors and high-tech design solutions, and HDsurface continues in the realisation of its showroom in Como, just outside the old walled town. CementoWabi, a covering consisting of cement, white Carrara marble and water that emphasises the beauty of imperfection, is used here to finish the walls of the interior. The floors, on the other hand, are in PerfectCombination, a product that represents the perfect synergy of cement and resin.

With its impressive synergy of cement and resin, this surface enables the utmost design versatility, providing durability, elasticity and water-resistance.

PerfectCombination and GeoOutdoor were chosen for the project for this villa at Desenzano, designed by architect Peter Platner. The former, used to cover the living-area floors, evokes the tactile intensity of cement but with a minimalist style, while the latter, continuing the colour of the interiors, provides a characterful finish for the lake-view terrace with its distinctive texture.

HDsurface contributed to the restructuring of an old knitwear factory, converted into an elegant loft on two floors, with state-of-the-art utility systems such as under-floor heating and home automation installations. The star of the vast living area on the ground floor is PerfectCombination, used to cover the walls and floors. The fitness area and pool in the basement, on the other hand, were finished with GeoOutdoor.

Lissoni&Partners chose HDsurface for the floors of the new headquarters building of Boffi, a leading producer of kitchen and bathroom furnishings and contemporary design systems. The synergy between the tactile beauty of cement and the high performances of resin delivered by PerfectCombination creates ever-changing interplays of light and dark, generating a surface with a clouded effect that enhances the hand-crafted look. A product with outstanding resistance, ideal for large surfaces.

Geometry is the key to freedom according to Attilio Terragni, the architect who in 2011 created the fit out of Interface HUB/Art, the multifunctional art hub in the southern area of Milan. Thanks to their highly tactile nature, the HDsurface products enabled the architect to give full expression to his design concept: PerfectCombination, CoverHD and GeoOutdoor, chosen for the building’s walls, floors and exterior, create a dialogue of materials that confers a structure, a voice and a character on the location.

One of the latest HDsurface projects is the Shanji restaurant in Milan, which chose the PerfectCombination and ALCHIMIE collections to cover the location’s floors and counter respectively. The tactile intensity generated by the coming-together of resin and cement creates a surface with a clouded effect, with interplays of light and shadow but with a minimalist style to support a sophisticated mood. The counter which dominates the restaurant characterises the interior with a finish that reproduces the metal look of the Corten steel finish.

PerfectCombination is the absolute star of the interiors of a private apartment designed by MargStudio. In fact, the HDsurface collection covers the staircases, walls and floors of the living area, bathroom and kitchen. Uniting cement and resin, the PerfectCombination water-based mortar is extremely versatile in use and enables unlimited design freedom.

The light-filled, refined interior of this Como apartment designed by architect Vito Ruscio was created with HDsurface surfaces. PerfectCombination both defines and connects the various rooms, from the living-room to the kitchen area, bedrooms and bathrooms, through to the shower enclosures. The softness of resin mitigates the roughness of cement in a sequence of surfaces that give the project a unique elegance.
Tony Boutique - Magenta MI

In 2016 Tony Magenta, one of Italy’s top, most exclusive fashion retailers, opened its new concept store, a location of over 600 sqm accommodating more than 100 fashion brands. Architect Paolo Giachi chose to use the PerfectCombination collection to cover the boutique’s floors due to its excellent performances and its minimalist aesthetic, which combines ideally with the various materials used in the interior, from brass to black metal.
